EM Foundation for AI Research Inc. — Licensing

CR-Lite™ Stewardship Fee Schedule

Flat annual contributions that fund AI accountability infrastructure. No revenue sharing. No financial reporting. No audit rights.

Effective: June 16, 2026 Next scheduled review: June 2027 Governed by: CR-Lite™ License Agreement § 8.3

Fees associated with CR-Lite™ licensing are stewardship contributions — not commercial license fees. They fund the Foundation's ongoing accountability infrastructure: maintenance of the public license registry, development of verification systems, continued AI governance research, and publication of standards. No licensee is required to share revenue figures, financial records, or proprietary business information. Organization type is self-declared.

No Revenue Reporting — Ever The Foundation does not ask licensees to disclose revenue, share financial records, or provide any proprietary business information. The fee schedule is organized by self-declared organization type. If an organization misrepresents its type, that constitutes a material breach of the license agreement — but the Foundation has no reporting or audit mechanism and does not seek one. We operate on trust, consistent with our mission.

Principles Governing This Schedule

Mission-First Pricing

Fees are set to sustain the Foundation's work, not to maximize revenue. A bank and a startup do not pay the same amount — but both gain equal standing in the public registry and equal trust mark rights.

No Financial Exposure

No licensee — including the largest enterprise — is ever asked to open their books. Self-declaration is sufficient. The Foundation's accountability standard is about AI transparency, not organizational surveillance.

Public and Consistent

This schedule is public, applies equally to all licensees of the same type, and is reviewed annually. Changes apply prospectively only — no retroactive fee increases for existing licensees.

IRS Compliance Stewardship contributions are program-related income of EM Foundation for AI Research Inc., directly supporting its exempt purpose of advancing AI accountability infrastructure. This fee structure has been designed to be consistent with 501(c)(3) requirements. The Foundation does not derive private benefit from stewardship contributions beyond the direct costs of operating the licensing program. Contributions are not tax-deductible charitable donations — they are fees for a licensing service.
